This workshop explores an experiential approach to collective agency in solving the challenges of our time. Its premise is that ALL society urgently need to get better at discerning how our visions of the future and our problem-solving mindset affects our individual and collective agency in working with our future potential at the present moment.
clustersXchange is a practical prototype of a global social innovation lab, bridging diverse people across sectors, and nations and generations in coming together to solve big challenges. Its key intention is firstly in accelerating capability development – raising the level of “thinking, being, and doing” whilst collaborating on real pressing societal challenges. In the session, we provide an overview of Clusters architecture and invite IEC participants to engage experientially with the project live in breakout groups.
Learning outcomes:
– why most problem solving fails without mindful accompaniment of the process
– how the integral framework provides a practical and accessible frame of reference;
– the journey of collective problem-solving from a living, human-centric perspective
– working with deep & messy tensions in shifts from linear/polarised to systemic/global thinking
– lessons learned in curating clustersXchange
– understanding “measures” of success and ways to track individual and collective progress
The live experience will be co-facilitated by the Clusters global team.
