«If we want the world to change, we need schools that learn.» Peter Senge
There is no single right way to turn a school or education system into a future-oriented development center for students as well as for adults. When context awareness, a focus on self-development, opportunities to co-create meaningful change and complex adaptive intelligence become ingredients of a school, chances are that the number of bridge-builders to a sustainable and peaceful future grows substantially. The Integral Approach offers key elements to this challenging as well as rewarding task.
After a glimpse into the journey of a small school becoming an increasingly adaptive place of individual and collective growth, we explore together which elements might translate to other institutions, how to include existing wisdom and practices and how to weave the mesh work to mutually support learning and growing.
Elements that will be covered: Sociocracy 3.0, Nonviolent Communication, Restorative Justice Circles, Spiraldynamics based adaptive learner guidance, Somatic Experiencing, Solution Focused Approach.
